Like My Own Siblings

You know what? This is something that I am extremely fun. But I sure love them like my own siblings. I introduce to you ... Pamela Munga Balang, Cleopatra Nanang, Ivy M. Karangkas and Tatum Marion Neil Sagidon. They merely Cute right? : þ hehehe .... However, they are my favorite crazy girls in Grace (no controversy please hahahaha…), not because of their beauty [kunun!] or 'height' [hahahah!] but of course in their determination to serve God and a deep longing to be together. Hmmmmm ... What attracts me is their ability to act in any performances, dancing, singing, commitments and bla! bla! bla!, and yup they are nice girls too even slightly naughty lol!... :)

Yes... they were studying at the same University and same course, and they will become an English teacher in the future, ya! by rite. Actually I have no idea to talk about them... hehehe inda bah!. So, this year I mean this month, they will finish the studies, and will return to their hometown for good maybe I guess, no hope blwuueek!... sob! sob! thing ya.... :(. I hope they will continue to be successful in their future careers.

I began to recognize them during preparations drama on Easter Day this year ... from there we began to familiar with each other, the madness thingy and sharing life experiences hehehe ... I don’t want to explain more detail about them, if you want to know more ... ask them :D.

I hope you all will always remember me, I try to believe that hehehe... and I know, something special in yourselves, special that you'll know it soon :)... Thank you and thank you and thank you sooooo much for being a good friend ya?... GBU ladies… I miss & luv u all…Cheers!! xoxox

Youhnited Stars were In Kuching!

Just came back from Kuching, Sarawak. Although I do not get plenty of sleep for 3 days (7th - 9th), but did not feel tired entirely but slightly bellow. Perhaps because there is blessed and happy to serve several churches there with the fire of the Holy Spirit, Praise and Worship, apart from planning to open Kuching Praise Comunity Center in the future. So, our total of 21 people - Pastor Perry, Bro. Henry J., Sis. Anne, Bro. Nelson, Sis. Fressela, Sis. Lisa, Sis. Suzila, Bro. Dennis, Sis. Ellyfehny, Sis. Pamela, Sis. Tatum, Sis. Abigail, Bro. Mark, Bro. Rayxe, Sis. Ivy MK, Bro. Roy, Sis. Jacq, Bro. Afon, Bro. Joshua, Sis. Florentina and me ...

I can say this is a fairly large group to do missions outside of KL across south china sea :). Although there among the participants of the mission are currently undergoing the university's final examination, but their determination to participate in this mission fiery, crazy! Attention! Attention! Who are these people? hahahaha....Yeah! Rite! I departed to Kuching from KLIA at 2.00pm on the 7th, While others have arrived there since 12:00 pm. What a quiet travel! Kesian! hehehe...

Precisely at 4 pm the plane landed at Kuching International Airport. Who probably will be picking me up? After Bro. Henry calms me, Eric is on the way for fetching me up... nasib baik...hehehe... actually they just finished on prayer walk in that city. :( I missed it! Yes, Eric finally arrived, along with Sis. Abot, Bro. Mark and Sis. Flo. After that, we went to accommodation provided by the Eric's team. Thank you bro! Susah-susah je ... hehehe ...

we will not forget your hospitality!... Your "kipas" yang menyejukkan kami hehehehe....We live in terrace house which is empty ... Nah! "NEW YOU KNOW!" hahaha ... actually it is more than enough for us to stay there, so grateful ... all men in the living room and girls in the room ... rules! Only allowed to use a shower room in 5 minutes! hehehe...

At Night around 8pm, (7th) we gathered at Bro. Eric's house along with some new friends. That night we enjoy the food and drink provided by Eric's, fellowship, message from Pastor Perry and proposal from Bro. Henry. We are laughing and joyful, because kenyang bah! hehehe...

After that we return to our Hot Tel, some ironing clothes, listening music, chat, shower and so on... as usual tidur lambat! ... right at 5 am (8th - Sunday), almost all of us woke up with a noisy alarm! But there are still snoring...who else...lol! After all ready, precisely at 6.30 am, we took time to pray and worship God intervened in our program throughout the day. We're really excited!

SIB Bau

Travel there for almost an hour. Along the way, we enjoy the greenery and natural flora, fresh air (we only imagine we in the van, inhalational the van's air aircond) :p. Initially we reached a junction in the left, thought we had arrived at the SIB Bau. No! We entered the wrong junction. Well, we continue the journey. Dennis still survive hehehe ... Nah! Finally we arrived at the SIB Bau! Pastor Charles is awaiting us. At first we just thought, hmmm ... This may be a common pastor.. but we're actually wrong. He was a funny and kind-hearted person ... amazing ... hahaha... Throughout the service there ... Fuh! how God works with exceptional ... Sis. Fressela led the congregation truly extraordinary ... dangdut! yo! As the service does not end. Sermon from Ps. Perry regarding changes to the main topic. However, Ps. Perry has a hidden talent for dancing dangdut! Yeah! Who would think ... hehehe ...So, after the service, we take photos together... having food and drinks...






One thing that touched our hearts is when Pastor Charles invites us to pray to the congregation there. We believe there a breakthrough will happen. This is hoped by pastor Charles changes will happen in this church in the near future.

You know what? It is 1 pm already, we must hurry back to town... but before that we must find Kolo Mee first ... compulsory! hehehe... ya at Siang Siang Corner... me with Kolo Mee+3 layers tea! Puas! Ohk! Owh!!... 2pm already... time off to SIB Praise Valley!

SIB Praise Valley

We supposed to be there around 2.30pm but, as Mr. Dennis has been diverted to other places, we lost a glance. That's Dennis! Finally arrived. Some young people are waiting for us and without wasting time we prepare for the event which will be conducted at 3 pm. Approximately 3 pm, Bro. Chiwi of Praise Valley's give words to welcome us and then taken over by Sis. Tatum, Sis. Ivy and Sis. Pamela led in praise and worship. Oops! The first song, I'm not sure what happened during the solo, my guitar's sound suddenly disappeared, I almost depressed and panic. But praise God, I'm playing with great Band-mates (Nelson, Joshua and Rayxe)... can close the "situation". How very important when using the method of "Jurus Tangga Nada (Jeffry Hermanto, 2009) hahahaha... After that run well, but on the song 'King of Majesty' sung... Fuh! Everyone jumped and gratefully not banging their heads on the ceiling. God really great!






After that, taken over by Ps. Perry with a robust, but as usual ... it is followed with the song "Black and White" or with soft language Hitam dan Putih and you knew what genre is. So, what happens after that? Right! Dangdut in da house! Ps. Perry invites young people come and pray for them and awesome, God worked with extraordinary ... such as not enough to praise God, the song titled "Aku Jatuh Cinta" filling the space with the pace of Sumazau. I can not imagine the situation at that time. Yes, great, everyone can dance Sumazau to God. As usual, after that, we enjoy the food and drinks provided by them. Laughter, fellowship, meet one another, meet old friends and take the photos together. Watch shows at 6 pm! we should soon be ready for the program at the church St. James, Quop starts at 7.30pm... rush! rush! rush!...

Yes, it does not have time to shower! We arrived there at about 7.50pm ... what a great place! Open Air! Stage with a fairly comfortable ... great! When all are ready, program began with opening of praise and worship from the host (mostly are youngsters), Wow! Great and energetic! Young people are enthusiastic in serving the Lord! After they sang 4 songs, the stage taken over by Youhtnited Stars! Yuuuhhhhuuu! The first performance is a Pantomime . Sooooo... cool guys!... macam biasa touching wei... Ivy did a good expressions there and Mark... and yes others too great! great! and great!. Nelson is Worship Leader at night that invites all people to jump and praise God with the spirit! Yes! We jumped higher and higher! We feel how our thirst for God touched that place ... What a great nite ever!... although Joshua (bassist) whispers to me "I want fast song! I want fast song!", he remains enthusiastic ... tired like mad!

Concert that night over. We have the opportunity to enter the church and we find out that the St. James church is among the oldest church in Kuching. Antiques and still in good condition! We are very impressed and have the opportunity to take pictures together, as usual, Florentino Rossi, busy with the Nikon D70s camera that almost 1 kilogram weight! Yeah rite! Jacquelin's style that errr .... hehehe ...

O.K., so, we are hungry! We got into the Van (Innova) and with full confidence to continue the journey .... Place to eat! So some, like that ... as usual, Dennis over to other places again .... we are turning back ... Yes ... only a few meters from the church, a very kind family willing to provide food and drinks for us ... and wahhhh .... a lots!!!! Blessed! Eating and drinking, oh ya! Pastor Charles was there ... hehehe ... however, Joshua has been breaking ice on it! Fun! He started with 'cool' tactics to punk'd Roy! pity Roy! Sorry Hahahaha ... It is about "Test-Your-Honesty-Being-Ignored-Later"...hahahahaha... I can't tell how it goes...So, to those who do not go to Kuching, this is our secret yeah!!!!..... BUT unfortunately, we are not simply satisfied to charge Roy but eventually Paramela Munangga Letchumi Balachandran also being 'punk'd' by Pastor Charles...hahahaha.... yeahhh!!!!...SO SWEET!!!!! hahahahaah...wait!! Bahahahahaha...

O.K. enough! We return to our Hot Tel, take all our things and stayed at Bro. Eric's Home. All mad over tired, but it's fun! So, our ministry ended here in Kuching ... tomorrow (9th) in the early morning, some friends who will return to Kuala Lumpur ...

In conclusion, God will use every Youthnited Stars for the glory of God to be a model to bring about change and impact on ministry and commence new service in Kuching ... and soon .. Miri and Kota Kinabalu ...

Digital Pre-Press

OK. Today's topic is related to the work experience [previously I've been in this field] :)... I worked as Digital Pre-Press Operator for five years at two different company in CTP Department or Computer-To-Plate. Other than skills in computer, it also requires expertise in the field of designing and graphics printing operations. In addition, must have experience in how a substance's books or magazines made. Basically, it starts at the design and Desktop Publishing stage then sent to the Digital Pre-Press stage prior to the printing process.

Here, I will list briefly the process of making a book or magazine:

1. Each material before it became a book or magazine, it must first undergo the process at Desktop Publishing (DTP). At this stage, graphic designers will ensure that the concept has a unique attractiveness, orderly and neat. Graphic Designer will also determine the position of typography and images included. Images must be 150 dpi (Dot Per-Inch) above and CMYK formats. Examples of DTP software are Adobe In-Design, Pagemaker, Quark Express and many more.

2. Based on experience in this field, Digital Pre-Press department choose to receive a file in the *.pdf format. It's easy and simplify the process of Refining. However, this process will run well when preparing the *.pdf proper and correctly. An example software of the refining processor is Prinergy by Creo.

*.pdf - Portable Document Format. Developed by Adobe Systems, this format allows document that are created in any program to be converted to PDF format which can then be "read" by the free Adobe Acrobat Reader software, regardless of whether the originating software used to originally create the document is available on the viewers computer. PDF files can be created from most programs by using the Adobe Acrobat software.

3. Refining is a process where the *.pdf files examined by several criteria that have been determined or called Pre-Flight (The process of checking DTP files before output by the output provider, in order to check if the files will run successfully on the imagesetter. In pre-flight, the files are not actually output on an imagesetter. Files may be opened and examined and/or run through a checking or imagesetter-emulation program). For example, the system will detect if there any images less than 150 dpi or fonts are not embedded. So, if any, further actions will be taken either get new files or repair the existing, depending on the discretion and evaluation.

4. Before proceed to layout process, Digital Pre-press Operator will check each file, page by page accordingly. Yes, make sure all bleeds are enough at least 3mm away from the trim size, this facilitates the process of cutting stage. Further, identify the any missing images, fonts not embedded, size of book / magazine as requested, make sure files are complete and more...

5. The next step is the layout or impositioning. I can say that this stage is quite difficult. It requires focus and it depends strongly on the Job Plan that has been provided. There are some companies call it Job Plan, Job Sheet, Work Sheet, and more. Depending on the comfort and work culture. So here are two important things that should be emphasized. First, related to Impositioning and the second is Job Plan.

6. In the process of Impositioning, it is dependent on the Job Plan. Position of every page based on paper print size width, height and how it folds. Normally the number of pieces in a single surface is 8 pages. Once again, it depends on the size of paper, printing and folding machines. If the book will be completed in the form of, for example Saddle Stitch (Stapled), then the way it folds and position page also different.

8. The completed Imposition also known as Signature. Now, after the position is determined, place each PDF file that has been processed into the Signature. Place the PDF by following the trim marks accordingly or just place it in the middle.

9. After Impositioning made, prior to the preparation of plates, each first impositions just need to print out Ozalid. Ozalid act as a print view, similar to the actual printing. It is also a pre-view to see the entire book / magazine to be produced. Here, the editor or designer will check every spelling, colors, layout, design and type of binding is correct, and also some other criteria.

10. After Ozalids have been confirmed by the editor or publisher, thus the impositions will be published in the form of plates. Plates or Printing Plates is printing processes such as offset lithography use printing plates to transfer an image to paper or other substrates. The plates may be made of metal, plastic, rubber, paper, and other materials. The image is put on the printing plates using photomechanical, photochemical, or laser engraving processes. The image may be positive or negative.

11. So, in the Plate Division, the operator will produce plates based on color. If the book / magazine is in CMYK, then plate is produced by 4 pieces for each side of imposition. Means, one color one plate. If there any additional color other than CMYK, then it is known as a special color or colors that have been selected in accordance with the design, for example Gold color, Silver color, Pantone colors and more.

After all plates are ready, it will be sent to the Press Department for printing!

About like that lar! What else you want to? Hehehe ...!

Much remains to be shared ... just enough so far ... later you dizzy! This is just only 50% of the overall process in the CTP! These are too basic I guess :)

I hope you have some information about the CTP and early production of books / magazines ... which is also called Pre-Press Production!

Hmmmpp!!!

This morning... I was in the Lift to office... thinking... "What I am doing here? I supposed to be @ somewhere else that belong to...?" Ya... what ever happened or will happen, everything... only God knows why... Today, I recalled something, it's about be a good friend and a brother... and trying to be a perfect husband lol!... Anyway errmm.... I surrounded by bunch of friends, nice friends, pretty, handsome, cute, kind, funny, crazy, pura² hensem, kunun² lawa hahaha... and blessing me all the time. Fuh!... I learned something about the reality of life... besides faith it's about HEART....wahh... jiwang eh! No lah... How people need each other...err... to share their feelings and "Love Burdens"...Fuh! apa tu!... Why lar bro n sis... susah ya... about feeling² ni... I dah lepas la...hehehe... but this is my turn to help them... I have my own experience and a very² damn experience hahaha... tu dulu!... please! Avoid it hahaha.... gila ketawa sorang²...

Yup! RELATIONSHIP!... Thank God... I wanna be someone to please "them" wise in terms of decision-making. Give them encouragements and supports... yalorr! What a friend for? To help, be a good listener and at least give them any alternatives. The same time my wife is helping someone out there too :). I always give support to her, give the very best advices and encouragements.. YA!... until 2am tu tolong kawan!...tidur la saya sorang² peluk obee...hehehe...

One thing... What ever it is... if you have to release or detain your LOVED ONES...remember GOD will provide a greater way and blow your mind... I have no idea in measuring people faith...BUT bring your head out from the window... see the wide view... I mean do not limit your life with your OWN FRAME...

I love my friends... sometimes I have to re-tune my brain on-track with their character... ya this friend different conversation, this one another style of conversation... bukanlah berlakon but... takkanlah contohnya seorang kawan minat music tiba² cakap pasal cara-cara buat spaghetti pulakan?...hehehe...

So tired larr.. this October too many birthdays... bagus juga ramai² ni project Pai-Ling makin banyak hehehe...

Another thing... be a good caring person...care about people feeling... listen their problem... pray for them... THAT's free... just spend a time to talk... priceless, cheering them up for their own good :) keep them strong in faith and spirit ["A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones... Proverbs 17:22"] :)

Anyway, I don't know what kind of blog I have... mixed! Dizzy la ni.. :p... so, that's all..
